Membership

 All women who are golf members of Grand Haven Golf Club, are eligible to join Grand Haven Women’s Golf Association (GHWGA).  The WGA plays year round on Tuesday mornings with an 8:30 shotgun start.  All members of GHWGA will receive an email generated by Golf Genius inviting them to play each week.  The email will specify the name of the game.  If you want to play, you must select the button that says “attending”.  There is no need to select the “not-attending” button if you are not playing.  You will receive an email confirmation from Golf Genius as soon as you respond. 

The membership fee is $50 a year and $3.00 per game day. Prizes for game day are Pro Shop credits except for “Chip-ins” which are awarded that day in cash and Stableford which is paid out in cash to the winning team at the end of the season.

A different game is played every Tuesday and can be found, along with a short description, in the Member Handbook or on the WGA website.

With the exception of shambles and scrambles, all scores are to be posted on the GHIN website either on the computer in the Pro Shop or by using the GHIN app on a personal device.  The player is responsible to post her own score and should do so on the day she plays.
